Hello and welcome to Political Landscaping!
This is basically going to be a political blog hence the name. I know its not the best name but I couldn't think of anything else at the time so cut me some slack haha. I'm open to other names but for now it is called this.
Let me first give you a little background info on myself. I'm a 28 yr old database administrator/processor that works for a small litigation support tech company. I was born in Pittsburgh but have lived in Texas pretty much all my life. I was only a couple of months old before my parents moved down south. Now although my parents are native Pennsylvanians, they are both now Red Tea Party going GOP flag waving Republicans, not that there is anything wrong with that of course. Hell I grew up as a staunch conservative republican that voted for Bush both terms and also voted for someone by the name of Tom DeLay who was our congressional representative.
Needless to say, I am much more liberal now then I was then. I still consider myself an independent as I still have some issues with the Democratic Party and some things that they stand for. But I am much close to the left now then I was before.
I hope to encourage discussion on a variety of issues with this blog. From current events to political agendas, and other ideas that are being shaped by our elected leaders in Washington. I realize as a non-Tea party goer and an Obama lover (yes I voted for him), I am in the minority in my state. So I just hope to provide some insight into why I think what I do about different political topics.
