You gotta be kidding me......

9/11 was a tragic event our country dealt with we can all agree on. With that being said, emotions have run high on what the planned decision should be to build on Ground Zero. I'm betting not to many of you would vote to build a mosque there.

From the article:
"Angry relatives of 9/11 victims last night clashed with supporters of a planned mosque near Ground Zero at a raucous community-board hearing in Manhattan."

Well no kidding. Now this isn't saying that all Muslims are directly responsible for the terror attach in NYC. But when people who have lost someone in the attack are walking by and see a Mosque in place over their dead loved ones, this is certainly going to spark emotions. Why build one there? Are there no other acceptable locations in and around New York for a mosque? I'm incredulous to the fact that the board voted overwhelmingly 29-1 to build one. Now it should be noted that this is not the final decision on the matter.
"The board has no official say over whether the estimated $100 million mosque and community center gets built. But the panel's support, or lack of it, is considered important in influencing public opinion."

Let's hope this doesn't go through.
